The HotBuys Pink Dot Dress has been released at Rio for $16. Not many people like it, and I have to admit I'm one of them. It's a little too 'different' for my tastes, although I have seen a couple of cute outfits using it! At $16 the dress is a little expensive. What do you think?

So unless you are 'Remembered' on your comp, You probably would not have noticed one of the best changes on the site! The Homepage!

So my cousin came over, and she asked me how to become a superstar... and as I was explaing we opened up the stardoll site. And there it was! The new layout! Isn't it just awesome!

A few changes have been made, for example the 'log in' bar is no longer on the right hand side, It is at the top. It shows you variable ways to dress your me-doll and it is now easier to create you very own me-doll (You no longer have to go through the agonizing steps!) So if you havn't seen it already here it is:

Hi All! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! As some of you may have noticed, I have given my account to my younger cousin, as I have realized I am getting too old for Stardoll and am not finding enough time to go on it. Although I pop on every now and again.

So todays post is about the gorgeous release of the new Bisou Hotbuys Floral Print Pumps. I Personally LOVE these little pumps and adore the pink flower. I would wear these with just about anything this spring, and if I were superstar they would instantly be going in my closet!

LE OUT NOW!

The new LE has been released. You can tell people are trying to budget because the more expensive dresses ($250!) aren't selling as well as they would have for the first few collections. A few of the pieces are really cute; I especially love some of the shoes and purses.

I love the bow shaped bag in the first picture, and I bought that along with the rose top on the left. I also love the button down lip print top in the top-right picture, and the greeny-blue shoes in the bottom right. Unfortunately they were sold out :(

I actually think this is a good thing, as I would have just over spent and regretted it later! Some of the pieces are quite cute, as I've said, but others are a little samish.

What are your favourite pieces? Have you bought any?

New Hotbuys Spring Doll.

The Hot Buys Spring doll has been released, with a preview of all the Spring Hot Buys to come! Here's a look at the clothes for those of you who aren't Superstar, or haven't seen the doll yet.

To show you a clearer view of the clothes, I've spread them out a little. I personally love the bodies, the shoes and the belts and bags. I'm also a fan of the pink crop top and that girlie nude dress.

Is it just me, or does that grey skirt have a familiar style?

Anyway, do you have a favourite piece?

Before I start, I would like to apologise again for not posting for ages. I have my GCSE's soon and I'm cram-revising!

If you go to the LE shop, you can see that it 'is closed for renovation', meaning that there is some new outfits coming soon! Better start saving because it'll probably be a more expensive collection that the others!

If you go to Stardolls Most Wanted, you can see a preview of some of the clothes, and the real life versions.

I'm personally loving the bags, so I'll probably buy lots of accesories rather than splashing out on an over-priced dress!

So sorry for not posting in so long, I've been sorting out a few personal issues. I did notice a slightly mean comment in the chatbox about me, and I'm sorry if you guys as readers of this blog feel this way. I'm just doing my 'job', and I figured people want to be informed asap if anything new happens on Stardoll. I appreciate the feedback, however I do think it could have been written in a nicer, more polite way. I do have feelings too.

But anyway, here's a quick recap of what's happened in the week and a bit since the last blog post:

Heidi Klum jewellery is up for sale, Stardoll has released some of Alexander McQueen's (RIP) designs as a Tribute, a collection called Spotlight has been released in Starplaza, their are a few new colours in Doree and the HotBuys bird necklace and Chinese dress have been released.

March HotBuys Released!

Stardoll has released a preview of the March HotBuys in Stardoll Magazine! I don't think that they're anything special, and I'm suprised that the Kohls top is one, even if that is good news for non-Superstars. Here's a look at the 11 HotBuys, and my opinions in release order.

Abbey Dawn Top - My favourite piece from the new Kohls collection, although not sure it should be a HotBuy, as it was not designed specially to be one. However, my snobiness aside, I like this vest, and paired with a leather jacket and a few splashes of bright colour, this adds a cute edge to most outfits!

HotBuys Dress - This dress is really cute! I love the oriental design, and although we can't see all of the cut, I'm pretty sure I'll be buying this!

HotBuys Necklace - I'm not a big fan of this, but the design is quirky and the colour is beautiful!

HotBuys Ruffle Top - Paired with a high-waisted skirt, this will make a cute outfit! The ruffles are adorable, and the cropped design simply makes it even more so.

HotBuys Blouse - Nice colour, simple design. The fitted belt gives this blouse the shape it needs to make it more wearable. The bow is a nice touch, but not really enough to make this HotBuys material.

HotBuys Tights - Simple colours and what I think is a cloud design. I don't really like these, but then again I'm not a big fan of leggings.

HotBuys Sequin Dress - Cute, but the design looks familiar. Nice colour pink, and I like the sequins. It's nothing special, but it is quite nice.

HotBuys Chain - I'm not quite sure what this is supposed to be. But it's a chain, so it's sure to add an edge to any outfit.

HotBuys Vest - I like the dark, mysterious colour, but I dislike the fur material. It would add a slight hint at colour to a more gothic look, which I think we be a nice outfit.

HotBuys Shoes - These spiky boots will definately add an edge to an outfit! Because of the simple black colour and the buckle design, these shoes will go with pretty much anything, and although they are nothing special they are quite different.

It does say there are 11, only 10 have labels. I'm guessing the 11th is the spiky silver thing. Not sure what it could be, although I'm hoping it's a hairband, as it would be more original that a bracelet or necklace.

HotBuys Jacket Released!

Yay! The HotBuys jacket has been released at Bisou! Unfortunately only for Superstars, and a little pricy at $13, but I've been wanting Stardoll to release a military-inspired Balmain jacket since they were first seen. I'm not personally a huge fan of the colour, something bright and happy would have been nice, like a red, but the design is still cute.

Bjork Swan Dress Re-Released!

I don't know about everyone else, but personally I LOVE this dress! I like the layers at the bottom and I like the original design. It's cute and it's quirky, and it definately sets all eyes on you. Best yet, the dress hasn't been released in Archive, it's out in Voile for $7. Since this dress was once a rare (before Stardoll released it twice, and now a third time), some people may be kicking themselves, but I reccomend you take this opportunity and buy the dress, in all it's feathery glory!

I've made a quick, simple outfit using the dress, adding just a pair of animal-print tights and a pair of simple black and white shoes. I think it best to tone down the rest of the outfit when using this dress - so no wild colourful patterns! And the animal-print tights don't count as they're only black..

Out With The Old, In With The New

With all the snow on the ground, it may not seem like the end of Winter is approaching, but Spring is coming, and quick. With only a week left of February, when March dawns you'd best be ready to take on all the new trends. But first, it's time for a spring clean.

Go through what you can sell in your bazzar (if you're Superstar) and start by getting rid of the things you definately don't want (items that will sell, not free things). If you still have space to sell, go through again and sell things that you know you will never wear, no matter how much you want to keep them. Welcome the new season with open arms, and get rid of the gothic, the 80s shoulders, the neon. None of this stuff is making a comeback, so sell it!

Now you've got rid of the old, and made a bit of money in the process, it's time to plan your spring wardrobe! Here are some key trends to get you started!

1. Ruffled Romance

Think Candy Floss and silk. Soft textures and layers and layers of frills. Show off your girle side with these feminine clothes. Pair a princess dress with a pair of cute heels and a clutch.

2. Double Denim.

In contrast, do the unspeakable and wear denim with denim. Just make sure they're contrasting washes though to avoid looking too trailor truck girl.

3. Animal Print

Carrying on from last season, animal print is here to stay. You probably shouldn't match pieces, but this outfit is just for show. Animal print always makes an outfit pop, so take a look at our how-to.

4. Trench Coats.

Ideal legnth is above the knee, and the classic design flatters all. To be worn like a dress, which means tights and matching shoes. Obviously clothes should be worn over, and these should match as well.

5. Underwear as Outerwear.

To keep this classy, it's best to keep covered up. Copy Gaga and wear a shirt under a bra, or just keep your legs in trousers and your jacket on. Go all out and dare to wear your bra, panties or corsette for all to see!

6. Tribal.

The best place on Stardoll for tribal prints is ELLE, although other shops have a few as well. If only our medolls could wear war paint.

So throw out the old and make room for the new! Keep these trends in mind for your next shopping spree!

A new collection called Stylein has been released in Starplaza. So far there is no shop, but for now you can buy them from the New section. The prices range from $5 for the shoes to $12 for a dress. The clothes are quite simple, in greys and blacks, but the cuts are quite cute and original. The grey items are quite business-like, which makes a change from the usual party dresses we get.

Finally! This collection has been around for ages, so it's about time they got rid of it! Most people bought what they wanted when the shop was first released, but if you haven't I'd recomend taking a look as the clothes are selling for 1-2 stardollars! They aren't all that great, but for that price you can get a few items to layer and create a decent outfit with! This is as cheap as Stardoll goes - so grab what you want quick!

The HotBuys T-shirt has been released for Superstars only $10 at Rio. Personally, I don't like it. The shape is okay, but the cropped legnth is a little off-putting, and the colour and design just don't look right. The parrot (?) in the corner is just a little weird, and I think the summery shape would have looked better in a different colour - maybe a bright colourful one!

I was looking through the suites of those who had just bought LE*, and came across MadameMushroom's suite. Her dress, make out of those little glass dogs, is inspiring! The pyramid effect it creates is a gorgeous shape, and the shoes are amazing!

HotBuys Jeans Released!

The HotBuys Jeans have now been released for $9 at Rio! Bit much for a pair of jeans, although they are studded and are quite interesting (as interesting as jeans go!). They are quite flexible, as the studding adds a litttle detail into an outfit to make them the main attraction, or, because they are jeans, you can dress the rest of the outfit up. I've created a simple outfit below, with a simple fitted shirt, and golden brown accesories to fit around.

Also, there is new Kohls out, however it is not yet in the shop. Look in the new section in the Starplaza.

The new Amy Claire store has been released in Starplaza. The prices are quite good, at up to $16 for that long red evening dress. A couple of the dresses are quite cute, although they are all plain! I think it's worth buying one or two as an investment, and because of the lack of pattern, would go well in most outfits.

The new HotBuys tee has been released for $9 at Fudge. The design is supposed to be of clothes, although a lot of people have said it reminds them of the Starry Night design that Stardoll released in the form of leggings for Antidote. The design is quite cute, but personally I won't be buying it as I think it's a little hard to work well into an outfit. I don't really think it is HotBuys material.

Valentines Day: Part Three

I've decided to make my own list of the Top Ten Love Songs. You may agree, you may not, but I'm going to try to include a variety of styles and ages of music. Some sad, some happy. In no particular order, just when the spring into my head!

Leona Lewis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out.

This is a really beautiful song. This is a cover of an Oasis song, but Leona sings it beautifully and with such emotion. Quite sad and slow, but still an amazing song.

The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love

Not the first song to come to mind usually, I'm guessing, but this upbeat song really cheers you up, maybe after a break up, or just to bring a smile to your face and get you dancing.

Queen - Somebody To Love

I found it hard which love song I wanted to pick from Queen, as they actually have a couple. So they may be old, but Queen are still just as amazing, and this song is worth listening to.

Paramore - Love's Not A Competition

Again a cover, I think. Good song though, it's really sweet.

Pixie Lott - My Love

This is a really 'traditional' love song. By that, I mean it's just Pixie singing about the guys she loves.

My Chemical Romance - I Don't Love You

MCR are kind of love/hate I think, but if you love them, this is a great song. The video is amazing as well, really heart-breaking.

JLS - Everybody in Love

Great one to sing and clap along to. You gotta love it!

Florence and The Machine - You Got The Love

I think this is a cover, but I'm not sure. Either way, Florence's voice is what makes this song so beautiful.

Rihanna - Take A Bow

Another one about the end of a relationship, but still really heart-breaking. Beautiful song.

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance

Can't forget Gaga now can we? As usual, beautiful voice and amazingly artistic video. If you haven't heard it, I worry.

I think I can see that I like songs about heart-break best looking at this list, but I think they have more emotion in them. Everyone's going to have their heart broken at one time in their life, and I think that's when you really do get the amazing songs. I may have left a few good ones out, but I was just making this as I go. These are all brilliant songs, so do listen to them if you get the chance!

Valentines Day: Part Two

So, I know I said I would write an articleabout Valentines Day once a day, every day until the day itself, but that's been harder to do than first expected. But now I'm free and ready to post, so here's the second part of this little segment.

This time, I want to feature a few pieces of breath-takingly amazing Valentines-inspired jewellery from the site I Love Cutie Pie.

Although this is a UK site, and the prices are in pounds, they do deliver elsewhere as well. So, here are a few tasters of their jewellery.

I usually don't like gold jewellery, but this is an adorable necklace, and at only £12, is really affordable too!

This one's a little more expensive at £18, but still affordable and cute! I love the dove with the love letter, it's so sweet, and the pearl adds an extra hint of colour.

If you're not looking for a necklace, this pink oreo ring is a cute alternative, and at only £9.50!

Check the website out for more adorably cute designs, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Paris, and others. If you're looking for some jewellery for yourself or someone else in your life this Valentines day, I'd recomend these pieces!

New Valentines Day Store - Je T'aime PIP

The actual store isn't out yet in Starplaza, but the clothes are. I'm guessing it's a Valentines store, as Je T'aime PIP means I Love You Pip. It's a 'sublet' of Pretty in Pink, and the clothes are mostly pink.

Here's a few of them from the 'New' section in Starplaza.

I love the two dresses on either side at the bottom, but the rest isn't that cute. It's good that a few of the items are for Non-Superstars though, even if they are only shoes and accesories. The prices aren't as bad as I would've expected, but still quite costly.

HotBuys Sweater Released!

The HotBuys sweater has been released for $13 at Evil Panda. It's quite cute and the relaxed design is the perfect combination between comfort and style. I just wish I could buy it in real life! The colour scheme is black and pink, so it will go quite well with a lot of outfits - maybe some Valentines Day ones!

Valentines Day: Part One

Since Valentines Day is only 11 days away, I've decided to a little segment to celebrate the build up, in which I will post something to do with the day, everyday until Valentines itself!

To start with, I thought I'd share with you the history of Valentines Day.

There are many stories surrounding Valentines, but I've chosen one that I think is a beautiful story of love.

During the reign of Emporer Claudius II, the Roman army was shrinking, as many men did not want to leave their families and go to war. To prevent this, Claudius outlawed marriage. A certain priest named Valentine did not agree with this law, and continued to perform marriages secretly. One day, through his line of work, he met a young blind girl, with whom he fell in love. Although he managed to marry many happy couples, Valentine was eventually discovered, and convicted for his crimes. He was sentanced to death, and was left in jail until the time of his execution.

The young blind girl continued to visit him whilst he was in jail, and shared in his sadness. Come the day of his execution, 14th February,Valentine wrote a letter to the blind girl, and slipped a bright yellow flower with it. When the blind girl opened the letter, her sight came back. The beautiful yellow flower glowed and a tear glistenned in her eye as she read the letter. Although Valentine was executed, the blind girls love for him remained strong, and every year on the 14th February she would remember him, along with the many couples that he helped to marry.

I'm not sure if this is an actual traditional story, as it's one that I remember being told, rather than finding on the internet. However, I have found many that talk of the outlawing of marriage, and Valentine marrying couples in secret.

I think this is a beautiful story of love, and would like to think of it as true origin of Valentines Day, however unlikely that is!

Using the Same 2 items to Create 2 Different Looks! - Classy & Streetz

So I was really bored today, and I was skimming through the store. I found this really old looking top that I paired up with the Lemon Yellow 'Basics' High-waited skirt.

I then, changed the shoes, hand bag and anything else I feel is necessary to make the look complete.

I did this to create two different looks. One being streetz and the other classy.

How To Wear: Moodi Wear

Sorry for not posting for a couple of days - homework issues etc.

By now you'll have seen or heard of the new Moodi Wear shop, 'designed by stardoll members for stardoll members'. However, a lot of people have expressed a dislike of the clothes, or voiced how difficult they are to create an outfit with. So top help people out and spark off those creative ideas, I've put together a couple of outfits using items from the Moodi Wear collection. I'll be honest and say I've chosen two of the easiest items to use, one quite a simple dress and the other a ruffle-shouldered top with a cute design.

And so, the first. I picked up on the red stripes in this dress, and accented them by accesorising using the colour. As the dress itself is quite fitted and shaped to the model, I chose a open, flowing jacket. Keeping with the red theme, I picked a pair of simple heels and matching bag, and lipstick to finish it off.

And the second. Again, as the top is quite fitted, I chose to pair it with a pair of shaped pants, to add some volume into the outfit. Deciding to keep this outfit simple, I also picked out a pair of metallic purple ankle boots and grey bag, to match the colour in the top. The red lipstick makes the outfit a little more daring, and matches with the picture on the top.

I Guess I ought to say! They're Famous!

They are the stardollians that we all know, who designed the new Starplaza Line - Moodi Wear.

This is a fantastic range that stardollians themselves get to design. (one of them being galpal2) Designing them in the 'Star Design FASHION' area of Stardoll.

This range is a wide variety of MOOD T-shirts costing only a mere amount of stardollars.(Now selling at the Starplaza!) On the plus side, these shirts are available to Non-superstars! I can't wait for MORE to come out!

The HotBuys Tee has been released for $10 at Fudge. It's quite simple, but the graffitti-style heart print is quite cute, although maybe not HotBuys material. $10 is a bit much for a casual tee, however the simple design does go quite well with a lot of outfits.

I have created a couple, one casual and one a little more fierce.

So this was released before the cardie, but I forgot to make a post. Here it is though, even if it is a little late. The Hot Buys dress has been released for $14 at Bisou, and it's quite cute. I'd say this is more of a summer dress, as it's flirty and colourful, but it looks cute anyway. It is quite expensive, but it is a dress, and it is a Hot Buy.

Here's an outfit I made using the dress. I only used colours in the dress, so that it all tied together, but was still quirky and cute.

Personally, I'm not a massive fan of this hotbuy. The colour is quite cute, but the cut and flower are to formal for my taste.

1 Stardollar a Day! -Is Back!

As you all know, 1 Stardollar a Day is Back! But with a bit of a twist!

In-order to get your 1 stardollar, you have to play a 'play and earn' game. And instead of earning 5 stardollars to spend you can now only 4. But on the plus side, you get to KEEP the one stardollar lost!

Personally, I love the new feature! I never used to have time to play the 'Play and Earn' Games!

New Hairstyles!

Unfortunately, as you can guess, they're just for superstars. But, for those of us who are superstar, we finally have some cute new hairstyles. I had my opinion about each of the separate styles when I saw the spoiler, but now I've seen each of them on my doll, I've changed my mind about a few. I'm very 50/50 about the six new hairstyles, as some are cute and some are not so much.

At first, I liked the 3rd, 4th and 5th, but disliked the rest. The second one was okay but if only the ends were strait it would be like Lady Gaga hair. The 1st is too frizzy for my taste, and the 6th is okay as well, but I think only elites will bother to try with it.

So with these opinions set, I clicked myself to my Styling Studio to check them out on my medoll.

I kept the make-up the same for all of them, to make this evaluation fair.

So, I still like the first one, but not as much. Although it would be a cute up-do for any formal events, the shape is a little too clingy to the head and doesn't have very much volume. The ends are hanging a little straggly for my taste.

I keep my opinion for the second hairstyle the same. I dislike hair that gets bigger in a triangle shape at the bottom, as it just looks messy and frizzy. Where the first hair is too thin, this style is too thick. However, it does frame the face quite well, so I'll give it that.

This is another hairstyle I didn't really like. I thought it would be okay apart from the bottom, but I think I actually prefer that to the top now. Honestly, whose fringe looks like that? It's too strait across, and fringes look cuter a little lower down, just below the eyebrows so that they frame the face. I have been hoping for a full-fringed hairstyle, but this isn't what I meant.

Nothing special, but still quite cute.

My view for this hairstyle remains the same also. I'm guessing the 'elites' will be rushing to use this hairstyle as the rest of us wouldn't go near it. If you want to be different, this is a look to try. Personally I think that this is too short for a girls hair to go before shaving it off. Some dolls look cute with a medoll with short hair, but not this style. It reminds me of those posh boys in old films who gel it all over one side.

I like this style. It's flirty and fun, a little bed-head kind of style. I think I'd use this is I wanted an outfit like that, as it's quite adorable.

February Hotbuys

The February Hotbuys preview has been released, and although some of these items are really cute, the standard is definately dropping. I'll go through my opinion in the order of the release.

HotBuys Sweatshirt. For a sweatshirt, this is quite cute. I love the pink and black colours, and the fit of it. The bagginess, but still how you can see the figure comlimented well.

HotBuys Shirt. I like this, but it's nothing special. At first I thought of the Starry Night designs from the Antidote collection, but this is different. Cute tee, but if they sell it at HotBuys prices, I won't be buying.

HotBuys Shoes. Cute boots!! I love the colour and texture. The heel is just adorable, and the colour is AMAZING! I've been looking for a gorgeous pair of red shoes for my medoll for ages!

HotBuys Dress. Such a simple, vintage design. The flower pattern is so cute, and I love the bows, even if they do look a little odd. They add a little extra something to the dress.

HotBuys Bag. I think this is my favourite piece from this collection of HotBuys. I wouldn't wear carry it around in real life, but this is Stardoll, and it would add a virtual quirky-cuteness to any outfit.

HotBuys Brooch. Personally I think this would be better used as a bag, as the design is cute. I have something against brooches I think, as I would never wear one in real life. It could add a cute-grunge edge to an outfit though.

HotBuys Jeans. Although these are a unique pair of jeans, and could make a cute outfit, I don't think they are suitable to be a HotBuy. Hotbuys are special things, that add that extra wow to an outfit. Jeans just don't do that, no matter how ornate they are. My opinion is that any HotBuy that can be used casually isn't really worth being called a HotBuy.

HotBuys Top. If Stardoll got read of the funny flowers on the shoulders and extended this top, it would make a cute dress. Unfortunately, they haven't, and it doesn't make a cute top. It would be okay if the bottom was a little longer on the left, and those silly flowers weren't there. They remind me of things I wore when I was five.

HotBuys Jacket. The design is fierce, however, the colour not so much. Black, or any bright colour at all would be good. But a musky green? Never. It is still quite cute though, and depending on the price I may buy it. The legnth and detailing on the shoulders is quite unique, and it would definately transform any outfit.

HotBuys Hair Brooch. Not much to say about this one. It's cute for a hairslide, but I think it looks better in this models hair than it will in most of the ones available for our medolls.

To end, I will just say how much I really want to be able to style our medolls like the dolls in the HotBuys spoilers, especially the last two.

Fashion Issues: Kids and Heels

This has always been an issue most parents concern themselves with. With children dressing ever-older, when is the right age to let them wear heels, and how high is too high?

When Suri Cruise [seen below] debuted her first pair of heels at the young age of three, many voiced their objections. Not only will she grow up too fast, an ever-growing problem in the modern world, wearing heels too often is bad for her growing feet.

Wearing heels is bad for posture and creates long-lasting problems at any age, and making a habit of wearing them at three could cause problems for Suri as she gets older.

There is a difference between dressing up in Mummys' clothes and having your own heels to wear out in public. Some parents have complained that by dressing Suri like this, Katie could be sexulizing her daughter.

Others simply feel that there is no need for a three year old to wear heels. How could they be able to do the things children do, such as exploring woods and climbing trees if they're wearing heels?

But when is the right age to allow your daughter to wear heels, and how I should they be?

Personally, it's up to each child. (I got my first pair for my fourteenth birthday, and I wasn't all that fussed about the heel, I just liked the boots). To wear for special ocassions only, your child could wear very small heels at any age, as long as she does not make a habit of wearing them for long periods of time. To wear more regularly, twelve to thirteen is a good age to start breaking into a pair of heels with good support, and your child can work her way up from there.

There are many different types of heel, which provide different support and are suitable for different ages.

Inspiring Shoes

Recently, I've noticed a lot of designers taking their shoes to all new heights (gettit? heels, heights?! nevermind..). First, there were McQueens armadillo shoes, which set the standard for inspiring shoes. No one could doubt Lady GaGa would wear them, and of course she did so in the video for her single, Bad Romance. Shaped like, well, nothing imaginable really, critics wondered how women would wear them, and of course, why anyone would buy them. If I had the money, I would. These shoes are like artwork, and artwork is something to invest in.

Now we have the chain shoes, sort of like wedges, but made out of chains. I have yet to see anyone stand up strait in them, let alone walk. However, although they should only be worn for sailors reunions, they are quite cute, in a weird, rusty sort of way.

Also, a pair of fur shoes, with minature guns for heels. The site I took this picture from, CocoPerez, was taking bets on Lady Gaga wearing them. However, although they are artistic, they look a little tacky. Maybe if they weren't furry, but I'm not placing my money on it. Just wait for me to eat my words.

And finally, a pair of wedged heels with a hole through the middle. I'm also asking why, but they quite traditional, despite being so unique. I love the intricate detailing on the wedged part, and because they're boots it may make them easier to walk in. As opposed to if the weren't boots, not compared with 'normal' shoes.

Personally, I'm still loving the McQueen armadillo shoes [top], because of the shape. I loved that whole collection really, but these shoes are just amazing. I would kill for the opportunity just to touch a pair.

Real Life Fashion: Coats

Taking some hints from the readers, I've decided to write a segment about real life fashion, to help you with choices in the real world, where fashion is even more important. Sometimes it's easier to dress your medoll than it is to dress yourself as the look good in almsot everything. Unfortunately, it isn't as easier in the real world. Colours might wash you out, fits might make you look weird or you just can't find anything you like, and when you do, you can't afford it or it's not in your size! So, here I am to help you with some fashion choices for your style and appearance. Once you know what suits you and your style, it's easier to shop, knowing what you're looking for.

Since it's winter, and (in the UK) we've just been through a couple of weeks of heavy snow, I've decided to start with coats. I am a pain in my parents butts when it comes to choosing coats. My mum wants me to wear something warm and waterproof, whereas I just want something cute that doesn't make me look like a walking snowman. It's hard to find fashionable pieces that are still insulated but not too padded, and waterproof without having a waterproof 'look'.

Whilst you might just settle for a jacket like me, it's so much cosier to snuggle up in a nice warm coat, knowing you look great. Follow these steps, and you'll be on your way in no time!

1. Choose your colour.

Black is the obvious choice, as it suits everyone and the majority of coats are in this colour. Recently, a lot of shops have also stocked brighter colours, such as yellow or a beautiful deep blue. Brown is also quite fashionable at the moment, with a good range of coats in different shades. If you want to blend in or stand out, choose a colour to reflect your personality.

2. Choose a style.

Trench, bubble or duffle? Most coats rest in the middle or your thigh, but you may want to go for a shorter style or even a longer one. Personally, I wouldn't go any longer than your knee, but choose a style that suits you. Bubble coats are quite cute, ruffling at the waist, adding shape to your hips. You may want to opt for a double-breasted coat, or a trench like Paddington so stylishly wears.

3. What's your price range?

You may want to invest in a timeless style of coat to last you for years, and therefore pay more than you would if you were just looking for a fashion-forward style to last you through the current cold spell. Think of how much you are willing to pay, and then which shops would be best to search in.

Once you know what type of coat you want, don't stop searching. Check your favourite sites regularly for new in pieces.

Fashion Issues: Fur

Fur. It's warm, soft, and usually in fashion. What's not to love? Oh yeah, cute little animals are tortured so that you can wear it. Bearing this in mind, you might wonder who might be so insensitive so as to wear the skins of animals such as foxes, minxes, raccoons and many others. Quite a lot of big-named celebs actually. These include Paris Hilton, Kanye West, Madonna, Nicole Richie, the Olsen twins, Rihanna and Kylie Minougue. Whilst some of these may have given up fur after being featured on the list, think how many innocent animals had to die for them just to 'look good'

Of course, not all celebs feel the need to wear fur. Some go without, and others wear fake fur, such as Victoria Beckham here. Can you even tell the difference? Does all the same jobs as real fur without the need to kill any cute little animals. Good on her, although I don't see the need to wear fur at all really; real or faux. It may keep you warm, but so do a lot of man-made materials, or even ones that don't need to be torn off a dead animal. It adds a few pounds, and looks tacky and cheap.

Here's a little taster from the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) website, naming the animals killed for fur and how they suffer. I think if you saw this that you'd understand that fur is unnecassary, and that unless you have no heart at all, you wouldn't wear it.

HotBuys Tights Released

The Hotbuys tights have been released for an expensive $7 at Evil Panda. Bit much for a pair of tights and Superstar only, these quirky tights will add a little spark to any outfit. I love the little yellow droplets, such a simple but cute touch.

Here's an outfit I've made with the tights. It's quite glitzy with a gold headband and sparkles in the shoes and dress. The blue in the bag matches with the blue in the dress, and the gold with the yellow in the dress.

New Layout Finally

Tada! I made is using the color scheme of pink and black. It was my boyfriend's idea for the little yellow stars, and the font is just pretty and irresistible (: I've been a little slacking lately I know, but I'll get back into the swing of things as soon as I can. And, I didn't make signatures this time because I'm lazy, so I'm going to go work on my banner now :D

Stardollar-a-Day - Back!

After many complaints, the stardollar-a-day has returned, but this time you have to earn it! Using the play-and-earn campaigns you can now earn 1 stardollar to keep and 4 to save. I like this idea, and as most of us use the play-and-earn feature most days anyway, I think this is a good way to bring it back. As you can see below, you earn the 'keep' stardollar first, and the other 4 follow. This is better than nothing and I think it's quite a good idea!

Fashion Issues: Real Sized Models

This isn't to do with Stardoll, but I thought it might interest a few of you to read more into some of the issues surrounding the fashion world.

To start off this segment, I thought I'd do an article about real-sized models. Most people know that most of the models used on runways are usually a US size 0, or UK size 4. But recently there has been some discussion about using 'real size models'. The weight issue has been around for a while, with people complaining that the models are unrealistically sized and don't mirror the sizes of 'real' women. It has taken a while for these complaints to be taken on board, but the fashion world is finally recognising that most woman aren't size 0's.

I like that 'plus' sizes are being used, as it shows that women can be beautiful no matter what their size. Models should be picked on whether they are beautiful or not, and if they work the clothes well, not whether or not they are shaped like a Barbie. The women above, other than their size, look like models. They have the masculine features and couldn't-care pouts. They wear the clothes well, and I think it's great that they have finally been given a chance to be models. However, I think that there should be a limit. Of course, for most women it is not natural to be a UK size 4, and this is shown in shops, as it is difficult to even find 6's in most shops. But, women should not be excluded from the fashion world, in this size revoloution, if their weight is healthy for them, and if it is natural. I also think that there should be a limit to the sizes of the models. I appreciate that it is natural, and healthy for women to be UK sizes, 12, 14, and 16, but women such as the one below should not be models. I personally find folding-over fat vomit-inducing. I'm not being sizeist, as I also find the models with bones sticking out discusting, but I can only blame the model herself for getting to that weight. As it is not natural to be so skinny, it is not natural, or healthy to be such a weight.

The model below was catagorised under 'plus-sized', and I find it terrible that we live in a society where such a beautiful woman would be grouped as such. Plus-sized? Like I said, there has to be a limit, and maybe this woman does have curves, and she has boobs too, but isn't that natural?

We all have an opinion on the Weight Debate that is stirring in the fashion industry, with more designers choosing to debut their clothes using real-sized models.
As long as a woman is beautiful and healthy, her weight shouldn't be a problem.

How To: Sequins

I haven't done one of these posts yet and I thought it might be fun, and maybe useful. Stardoll has released a few sequinned items recently, and I've noticed some people using sequins in fantastic ways, but others not so well. So I thought I'd do a quick how-to on sequins.

1. Decide what style you're going for.

Do you want the outfit to be casual, classy or party-perfect? This is important as different colours, shapes and layering work best with certain styles.

2. Start with the sequinned piece.

Choose the sequinned item that you want to use in your outfit first, as this will be the key piece. Sequins are generally the eye-catching item of clothing in your outfit, and so everything else should be built around that.

3. Choose your colour scheme.

If your sequinned items is a colour, black would be the obvious choice, as it allows the eye to be drawn elsewhere, and doesn't clash. If your sequinned item is black, add a few splashes of a bright, bold colour, making sure it's not too overpowering or trashy.

4. Create a look you're happy with.

Don't be afraid to take a little time playing around with different pieces to go with the sequinned item. If a skirt doesn't look right, see how a pair of shaped trousers seems. Experimenting is how style is shaped, so don't go with the first item you come to.

5. Match the accesories.

Make sure any jewellery, bags or shoes go with the outfit. This is harder, because there is always that perfect pair of heels, or that perfect clutch that you know would look great - but you don't have. The colour of the shoes, and probably the bag too, should be simular to the top half of the outfit, but only you know what looks best. Jewellery shouldn't clash, and if you have gold or silver in your outfit it should be too.

6. Spend time perfecting the make-up.

Your outfit is to die for, but the make-up looks like you applied it in the dark. Not a good look. Make-up can really make or break an outfit, so you should take time to create a matching look. Use tones from your outfit and blend them to create a layered eyeshadow, or a daring lip-colour. Do the make-up last so you know which colours go and which don't.

7. Check over your outfit.

Once you think you've completed your outfit, take one last look at it. Is there something that doesn't quite go? Do you maybe need to move, add or remove something? Probably not, but check just in case.

Hotbuys Bracelet and Dress Released

Sorry for not posting recently, like a lot of you I have been busy with the rush of getting ready for school again and back into the boring routine. Since I last posted, a beautifully textured Hot Buys dress and a quirky octopus-shaped bracelet have been released. Both are Superstar, as I'm sure you may have guessed, and they both have a slightly vintage style.

The bracelet is quite cheap compared to other Hot Buys, at only $4 from Voile. Although the detailing is hard to see whilst being worn, this bracelt adds a cute, fun touch to any outfit.

The dress is, unfortunately, a bit more expensive, at $14 from Rio Chicas. The plain pattern of the dress is kept interesting by the silky texture and plain belt. If I was to use the dress in an outfit, I would use more complex accesories to keep the outfit from becoming boring.

I have made a quick, simple outfit showing the two newly released Hot Buys below.

The dress is quite glamorous itself, so I decided to keep it that way. The bracelet makes the outfit more unique, and the shoes keep the colour scheme simple. I kept the eyes bright and the jewellery tasteful and formal, with jewelled earrings and a floral-patterned headband.

This was just a quick outfit to show you how the Hot Buys could be used, and I'm sure you could do much better!

How To: Wear the Hot Buys Studded Dress

First of all, sorry for being lazy and not blogging here in forever. I'm not able to make a whole new layout because I don't have enough time before school starts again. A new one will be up eventually, and the banner will feature our latest writer, CrazyCaz07.

To the point tho: the new-ish Hot Buys Studded Dress for Bisou is a little hard to work with, if you ask me. The shoulder pads, the bulky dots, the uneven bottom. I came up with some stuff for it tho, and I am sharing those with you now :)

The first look I created was this all black ensemble.

I tried to squeeze a belt around it, but I had no belt wide enough to fit around the chunky nature of the dress's waist.

I also coudn't find a fitting jacket, which annoyed me because I love adding jackets to dress outfits.

But, I did use some fitting ELLE leggings and a purse from DKNY. The shoes might be a little out of place, but they did the best compared to some other shoes I tried.

For this outfit, I tried to add some grey.

Because I couldn't add a jacket, I got away with adding layers but using a long sleeve turtle neck from Fallen Angel.

I didn't use a bag, but I used the grey pinstriped Philosophy tights.

I slipped on the ankle boots and called it an outfit lol.

Hotbuys Fur Stole Released

The Hot Buys Faux Fur Stole has been released for superstars only, $6 at Voile. Personally, I don't really like this Hot Buy, it looks like something my nan would have worn. I think it's the colours that do it really, and the bow in the middle is too solid in colour. The dark contrasts too much with the soft beige of the rest of it.

Used correctly however, this stole can add glamour to an outfit. For example, this dress is already very red-carpet style, but by adding the stole, you add an extra pattern to look at, contrasting with the dress. It adds a solid defining shape to neckline. The clutch matches with the bow, keeping the outfit together.

Faith Hill Dress Re-released

So many people have paid so much for this dress, thinking it was so rare, and now Stardoll have re-released it in the Archive shop. Bad new for the people that paid SMS codes for it, but good news for the rest of us. This is a beautiful pink floor-legnth dress, a glamorous addition to any wardrobe. Considering how much you'd have had to have paid before, $16 is quite reasonable for this dress, and I'd grab it now before it goes.

Hotbuys Studded Dress Released!

The new Hot Buys studded dress has been released for superstars-only $18! So it's quite expensive, and not all that great. This dress is quite fashionable with it's studded material and shaped shoulders, but the dress is quite boring by itself, and works best worn with colour and a waist belt to give it some shape.

I have created two outfits using the dress in different styles below.

The outfit on the left uses the grunge style of the dress and adds pink floral patterns to make it slightly more girly and cute.

This second outfit plays on the glamorous edge of the dress by accesorising using gold tones. The belt defines the shape of the dress and the shoes match the outfit together.

The January hotbuys spoiler has been released in the magazine. These hotbuys don't seem to have a theme, they're just nice clothes. I quite like them really, honestly, I just don't think they're hotbuys material. Nothing stands out, there's nothing dynamic or incredibly fashion-forward. The dress, bag and shrug scream glamour, but the dress on the right and the coat seem to be more boho. I love the octopus bracelet, out on the 7th and the bow bag, out on the 30th. The shoes are also quite cute, they're out on the 14th.

What do you think of these hotbuys? Are you looking forward to any in particular?

Decade Of The Teens

The clothes from the design competition that Stardoll held are out in their own shop called Decade of the Teens. The prices are quite reasonable, ranging from $2 non-superstar for a pair of shoes to $10 superstar only for a dress. The jumpsuits aren't out yet but I'm guessing they will release them some time soon.

Personally I love that floral pink and purple dress and the shoes with it as well as the blue dress. Looking at some of the sketches I don't think Stardoll have done some of the dresses much justice, but others are pretty. I'm not a big fan of a couple of those dresses as they're a bit 50s, retro, but it's all a matter of taste, and because of those prices I'm guessing they'll sell quite well.

Stardoll has made their own "new decade resoloutions" page, where you can write what you're grateful for and what you will do in the future. Most people are just writing the usual thing - my life, my family, I'll be a better person...

If you read the first paragraph, you will notice that Stardoll has written "Stardoll is moving boldly into the new decade bringing our love of fashion forward with an emphasis on the environment." Does this mean we'll be getting a place to recycle our virtual clothes? Only be able to buy environmentally friendly virtual dresses? Or maybe they'll just run campaigns to make us more aware and encourage us to recycle more. Sounds easier. ^^

Superstar Sale!

It's that time of month again, and the superstar sale is now on! Personally, I don't think there is anything worth getting excited about, except for the Baby Phat shoes on sale on the second floor you go to. The shoes, which are usually $10, have been reduced to $2 or $3, and the five pairs come to $12 all together. Finally Stardoll is being generous, as this is a saving of $37! I'd grab them whilst you can.

New Hotbuys Vest Released!

The new Hotbuys vest is out for $9 Superstar only. The shape and texture is quite unusual. I quite like it though, and it fits in quite well with Christmas.

I made a few outfits using it:

The outfit on the left is mostly red, and the hotbuys vest adds sparkle and class with it's draped shape.

The outfit on the right is full of sparkles. Too many sequins can sometimes make an outfit trashy, but this one is cute and perfect for parties! The matt grey of the bag and shoes go perfectly with the top and stop the outfit being too overpowering.

New LE Out Now!

Four new floors of LE are out now. If you haven't purchased any already (and want to), I'd hurry because some items are already sold out. The cheapest item is a necklace for $35, which is quite pretty and a little edgy. The most expensive piece is $250 - the "Ultimate Party Dress" as Stardoll labels it, although I don't think there's anything particularly special about it, and there are prettier dresses.

Personally, I can't afford anything to big, but I did buy a beautiful pair of shoes.

I like this collection, and I think it has a few of my favourite LE pieces in it, but there are others that I would steer clear at all costs.

What do you think of this LE collection? Best yet or worst value for money?

How To: Find Cute Pants on the Cheap

Today, the last digit of my stardollars was a 6, so I went to the starbazaar and searched some stuff for 6 dollars. The only search results that held my slight interest was when I searched pants. I know if you don't search by brand you get a lot of stardesign crap, but I actually began looking for cute stardesign pant designs. When I found a bright pair of solid orange skinnies, I almost bought them but then the hesitation got the better of me. How practical is bright orange? Not at all. So I kept searching.

Then, I hit the lottery.

I found a cute pair of jeans that have this worn-out look to them, and they only cost me 6 stardollars.
I kept going, I also found some grey jeans and black jeans. I searched Trousers for 5-6 stardollars. If you don't find something the first time, click the search button again. Eventually you'll come across something decent, I promise.

New Trend: Fangs on Your Eyes!

I was browsing the discussions of Stardoll Royalty and this one medoll I spotted had fangs, on the inner corner of her eyes. GENIUS! I wish I had a screenshot of it. I have a screenshot of how I did mine, though:

Hotbuys Tulip Skirt

The Hotbuys Tulip skirt was recently released in Starplaza. Personally I don't think this skirt is anything special, but because of its simple but stylish design it would work well with pretty much any outfit.

I've made a few examples below.

The one on the left is a gothic twist of the skirt, so I used items from Fallen Angel. The red bag pulls the outfit together, matching perfectly with the lipstick.

The second outfit is glamourous. I used the clothes from the new Golden Indulgence theme and Voile Holiday Boutique.

New Voile Holiday Boutique Level

That's right - there's a new level of the Voile Holiday Boutique shop. This set seems to be a lot to do with the Golden Indulgence theme that Stardoll has just released. The items are all quite sparkly and most of them are white or gold. Not all of the shoes are new, I think just the one pair is. I love the two golden dresses, especially the one on the right.

New Payment Methods

As you can see from the picture, Stardoll have come up with a new payment method for text messages. It works out as cheaper; you get more Stardollars for your money. It's now £2 for $100, or £15 for $1000 wheras before you had to pay £1.50 and either got $50 or $70, depending on whether you wanted to add extra time as well.

I think this is good of Stardoll to give us extra Stardollars for our money, but they could've given us more of a warning, because some people (like me) have purchased Stardollars via the old system and now they can't cash them in. If this is you, send a message to Stardoll support.

I Think I Caused This

Some day ago, I sent a suggestion to the stardoll staff. It read:

"I think we should be able to purchase our or anyone else's sceneries as posters for our suite, and be able to sell them in the starbazaar. I hope you consider my suggestion :)"

They replied with the basic "we send this to our web designers," "keep the suggestions coming," "thanks for trying to make stardoll a better place," blah blah blah.

The point is, they changed the sceneries link to read "photos". They must have discreetly visited my suite, and noticed the little mention about sceneries on my presentation:

"And sceneries? You can only save up to 30. They're like old photos to me. You should check out some of my really old ones."

Note I called them old photos.

Maybe I caused this major change, or maybe I am crazy.

New Miss Sixty

There is now a new collection of Miss Sixty in Starplaza! This collection is pretty expensive; the most expensive dress is $26! The cheapest item is a pair of fingerless gloves for $4, which are studded and fit in better with the last collection. This collection seems to be focused on orange and brown Autumn shades, and there are a few stylish prints thrown in too. Personally I don't think this is the best Miss Sixty collection, but there are quite a few beautiful items thrown in. What are your favourite items, and will you be buying any?

I love it, I'm sorry. I guess I'm a sucker for being chosen as someone Stardoll is proud of. Even though I'm not the only special member, I feel like, well, royalty! I feel as if someone actually went to my suite and checked out everything, looked at my starpoints, saw the date it says when I joined (my sd b-day is coming up!) and noticed I have been superstar for over a year, and a member for almost three. Even though they probs didn't do that, I still feel so appreciated. I'm so happy I want to open up my bedroom window and dance on the sill in the nude! Were you invited? Your thoughts/opnions on how they chose these select members? Are you dancing naked in your window sill?

The New Antidote

Antidote, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary: a remedy to counteract the effects of poison; or something that relieves, prevents, or counteracts.

I wonder if they picked the word because it sounds cool, because that really, to me, has nothing to do with the store at Stardoll. Anyways! I'm will not be buying any of it because I'm not too crazy about Antidote, or LE as a matter of fact. No prejudice or anything, I'm just not that kind of person that buys that stuff just because I can. I'd rather buy it because it catches my eye, and might be something no one's seen before. And something I can use creatively, not something pre-created with one set purpose, no flexability with style.

But that's just me (: Do you have opinions on the new Antidote? Have you bought any or what-not?

How to #9: Save Stardollars

This long and worthy process I've invented will save you tons of stardollars a month. I just recently came up with this and I'm extremely proud to bring you this.

Steps:

•Open a fresh notepad document, to organize your finances.

•Go to the starplaza and list the items you don't have but want to buy. Make sure you get the exact name of the item, brand name, and price; so you don't confuse it with another piece.

•Reorganize your list items with this format: Title of item, brand name, price. Example: Hot Buys T Shirt, Fudge, 10 stardollars.

•For the first item on your list, put the day of the week in front of it. For the second item on through, put tomorrow's day of the week in front of it, etc. Example: Sunday: Hot Buys T Shirt, Fudge, 10 stardollars.

•Now here's the secret. Put 'play&earn' or 'P&E' right to the day of the week, left to the item's title. Example: Sunday: P&E, Hot Buys T Shirt, Fudge, 10 stardollars. So, for every day of the week, you'll play your favorite play and earn game, and only use the money one item.

But wait! We aren't done.

•If the item cost 10 stardollars, then your loss will be 5 stardollars, because ten(the item's cost) minus 5(your play and earn money) equals 5. If your item cost 5 stardollars, then there will be no loss, because you spent all fo your play and earn and none of your original money. If your item cost 3 stardollars, then there will be no loss, but infact a gain, so you may be able to purchase a 2 stardollar item however you want lol. List your loss at the end of the item's details.

Cool, right?

Tips:

•Organize your list in way that is logical. Like, if it is the 28th of the month, and a sale is going on, make sure the item you want is not in the sale, and if it is, then plan on buying it as early as possible before it leaves the starplaza.

•Once you've bought something, backspace/delete it from your list, to minimize self-confusion.

•Don't get all excited because it's allowence day, when you've received your regular 200 stardollars. Add more stuff to the list, and just use the 200 stardollars to make up for the losses.

Positive:

•It will save you tons of money each month. You'll probably spend twice or three times as more on items than you will with the way you probably do things now.

Negative:

It's an extremely long process! One item a day may be a bore after a while, but just remember how much you're saving!

Here is my list of items I plan on buying in the next few days, and the comparison between my system and just buying things freely with no system.

Monday:P&E, Oversized Draped Sweater, Bisou, 2 stardollar loss
Tuesday:P&E, Hot Buys T shirt, Fudge, 5 stardollar loss
Wednesday:P&E, Dracula teeth, Splendid, no loss
Thursday:P&E, Dracula teeth, Splendid, no loss
Friday:P&E, Shy'm Dress, Rio, 4 stardollar loss
Saturday:P&E, Hot Buys T Shirt, Fudge, 5 stardollar loss

W/ system losses: 16 stardollars

W/out system losses: 34 stardollars

I'm saving myself 18 stardollars with my system! Even though this list will take a week to accomplish, the result will be save me millions lol!

I'm Sorry & How to get free Dress + How 2 wear!

Wow! I realise, I havn't written in AGES! And I must apologise.
I have been really busy with school, spot, etc...

Anyways, many people have been asking me where I got the FREE pink dress. I am currently wearing (I will post a picture below).

So here is how! (Please remember, I am not 100% sure that this site is SAFE.)
Step 1: go to goproxing.com
Step 2: in the big box at the top, write "www.stardoll.com" (The address for stardoll)
Step 3: Log in.
Step 4: Open up stardoll in a new tab. (Not in goproxing)
Step 5: Then log in to the regular stardoll. Click "my account". Then click "change my pass... etc..". And then change you pass. Then you can exit that. (This is to assure that your account will be safe).
Step 6: On the goProxing Stardoll, Go To your guestbook. And find a piece/part of the pink dress.

And then... Log out of the stardoll GoProxing. Then go back to the regular stardoll. Log in.

I was listening to some old Hilary Duff mp3's I illegally downloaded like 4 years ago, and I realized how much I really do like her and her music. Her dad didn't have to be famous to make her famous, lol. So I went all out in Hilary Duff swag. I ofcourse bought all the items from the Celebutique in the starplaza. Was the message I got after I contacted stardoll with my serious avastar problem. And this is how they fix things? Rebirth? Lol, ily stardoll, always packed full of surprises (: Oh and btw! I reached 3500 starpoints today!

Avastar Won't Save

I'm very ticked right now, because my medoll's avastar won't save. Btw the old term for your medoll's icon was called an Avastar, it's a very old term indeed lol. Anyways, the little icon to the left of my screen either doesn't show up with makeup on, or it won't show up at all. I've contacted stardoll and they'll just reply with 'Sorry for the inconvienence, our staff are currently working to fix this problem.' And they'll reply in three days when it will be working. If I could work for the Stardoll staff, no one would ever have an Avastar problem again. In the image you see below, you notice the little pop up it hands you when you press save, but you may also notice that my Medoll isn't saved. I've saved many times today, it'll keep my makeup I applied there, but it just won't put it on the Avastar! Anyone else having difficulties?

Dressing your Medoll up for Halloween

If you celebrate Halloween on stardoll, not only are you preparing your suite for the occasion, but your also designing a costume to wear to guestbook parties and just for show when people come to your suite. All the scary and ridiculous costumes floating around the startplaza probably have inspired you, but you want something more original. I want to be a panda :3 It's sort of a challenge, becuase there is no panda costume in the starplaza, just the brand evil panda lol. My costume is going to look pretty ghetto because I've actually never dressed up my medoll for Halloween before, so I'm pretty new at the idea.

What are you going to be for Halloween on Stardoll?

Think Pink!

Hey it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month so come on! Let's all dress pink for the occasion. And who turns down the perfect oppurtunity to wear some pink!? Lol! Anyways. I have this little pink ribbon from last year, so I'm wearing that. I'm also going to dedicate 2 side by side album pages to the cause; so if your wearing pink for the cause, let me know any way you can! I'll totally feature you in my album. And of course I'm taking strides in my community by donating 20 dollars to walk around for a little down town with some friends (:

Room Ideas

I've saved up 15 USD's (united states dollars) to go to Target and get a stardoll card to buy 600 stardollars. And the second thing I'll be doing with it next to getting a lot of clothing, is redecorating my a lot of rooms. So allow me to start listing some things I had in mind:

•A nursery! They came out with some cute baby monkey decorations so that's what gave me inspiration.

•A bathroom; again; they came out with a toilet, I almost have no choice lol.

•I'm going to purchase the 'Lavish Dressing Room' and put all my collectables in that room to make an awesome home officice with the 'Spacious Left' interior, which is now being used for collectables.

And that's it. But there's also a little starpoint interior I'm working my butt off for; next to the hairstyle.
